I am Vera Santin, graduate at the Liceo Artistico E. Galvani of Cordenons.
A few months after graduation I was offered the opportunity to move to London, where I spent 5 years. During this time in England, as well as in Italy, I worked in different environments: I started as a sales assistant until I became store manager of a store in the center of Camden Town.
After a couple of years I started working at "MAZ", a hat company where I gained work experience that made me grow a lot: initially I photographed the products for their website, then I became their main hat designer; I also took care of the related commercial sector by going to China several times, both to choose materials and models and to follow the production; later, also to promote the sale of products at English trade fairs.
This collaboration continues, although no longer exclusive, since in 2017 I moved back to Italy and resumed contacts with some local stores where I manage social media, Facebook and Instagram, the online store and in-store sales.
In my portfolio you will mainly see the work done for "MAZ", from the company catalogs to the labels, the finished and photographed hat, ready for online sale and the posters of the events of the local street clothing store "PLASTIC".
There is also the part about photography, my favorite hobby, both digital and analogical. The one I prefer is definitely analog: I love the big grain of the photos, the colors blurred in a way that only the film can show.

Sono Vera Santin, diplomata presso il Liceo Artistico E. Galvani di Cordenons.
Qualche mese dopo il diploma mi è stata offerta l’opportunità di trasferirmi in Inghilterra, a Londra precisamente, dove ho trascorso 5 anni. Nel periodo in Inghilterra, come poi in Italia, ho lavorato in diversi ambienti: ho iniziato come commessa fino a diventare store manager di un negozio in pieno centro di Camden Town.
Dopo un paio di anni ho iniziato la collaborazione presso “MAZ”, una società specializzata in cappelli e accessori, dove ho maturato esperienze lavorative che mi hanno fatto crescere molto: inizialmente fotografavo i prodotti per il loro sito web, poi sono diventata la loro principale designer; ho curato, inoltre, anche il relativo settore commerciale recandomi più volte in Cina, sia per scegliere materiali e campioni, sia per seguire la produzione; successivamente, anche per promuovere la vendita dei prodotti presso fiere campionarie Inglesi.
Tale collaborazione continua ancora, anche se non più in esclusiva, dato che nel 2017 sono rientrata in Italia e ho ripreso i contatti con alcuni negozi locali presso cui mi occupo della gestione dei social media, Facebook e Instagram, dell’online store e della vendita in negozio.

In questo mio portfolio vedrete principalmente i lavori svolti per “MAZ”, dai cataloghi aziendali alle etichette, al cappello finito e fotografato, pronto per la vendita online e le locandine degli eventi del negozio “PLASTIC” di abbigliamento street locale.
Non manca la parte riguardante la fotografia, il mio hobby preferito, sia digitale che analogica. Quella che preferisco è sicuramente l’analogica: adoro la grana grossa delle foto, i colori sfumati in un modo che solo la pellicola riesce a rendere.
